Crash along Randall Road in Lake in the Hills area; drivers asked to go another way

Drivers were asked to avoid the area of Randall and Village roads in Crystal Lake and Lake in the Hills Tuesday evening.

Lake in the Hills police said in an alert just before 5:15 p.m. Tuesday that drivers should find alternate routes because of a crash.

Police did not provide more information in the alert, but the intersection is in the middle of the Randall Road corridor that is being widened. The left turn option from Randall Road to Village Road will be eliminated after construction is done.
