Crash closes Route 47 in Hebron

A portion of Route 47 in Hebron was closed due to a crash Wednesday evening, officials reported.

The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office sent out a notification at 5:37 p.m. Wednesday that Route 47 between Thayer and Allendale roads was closed to traffic due to a crash.

The sheriff’s office advises to avoid the area until further notice.
