Voters in McHenry County this election determined who will make the important decisions regarding their communities, schools, townships, fire departments, parks and libraries.

Tuesday marked the last day mail-in ballots had to arrive at county clerk’s offices and still be counted. Provisional ballots also had to be addressed by that time.

Totals will be finalized next week after they are canvassed.
