Wine enthusiasts gathered in Utica for its Winter Wine Walk on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, to enjoy a winter's day to sip wine and experience a fun-filled afternoon.

The Illinois Valley Alzheimer’s Caring Friends Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16 at the Peru Public Library.

Donkey basketball returned to Seneca for the first time since the 1990s, drawing a crowd so large that standing room only spectators surrounded the court by the time the donkeys took the floor. The games served as a fundraiser that benefited the Seneca FFA.
