L-P Co-op hosted Sterling in girls swimming on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023 at La Salle-Peru Township High School.

The LaSalle-Peru/Ottawa girls swim squad — led by a fifth-place finish by Mikenna DeSpain — put together a number of solid individual efforts in finishing runner-up at the L-P pool during Saturday’s four-team Pentathlon.

The L-P/Ottawa girls swimming team lost some talented swimmers to graduation but do bring back some experience despite more than half the roster being underclassmen.
