2021-22 NewsTribune Boys Bowling All-Area Team

Trenton Acuncius, St. Bede, sr.: The NewsTribune Boys Bowler of the Year had an area-best 222 average. He placed eighth at the Minooka Regional, 12th at the Sandburg Sectional and seventh at the state tournament. Acuncius recorded a 771 high series.

Peyton Baker, La Salle-Peru, jr.: Baker had La Salle-Peru’s best performance at the Minooka Regional, placing 10th with a 1,255 score. He finished with a .190 average and recorded a 696 high series.

Anton Cain, St. Bede, sr.: Cain finished second on the Bruins team with a 183 average. He recorded a 239 high game and a 623 high series.

Chance Hank, La Salle-Peru, jr.: Hank was second on the Cavaliers with a 201 average. He placed fourth in the Interstate Eight Conference. Hank placed 19th at the Minooka Regional to advance to the sectional.

David Lawrence, La Salle-Peru, fr.: Lawrence had a solid rookie season with a 183 average. He tied for ninth in the Interstate Eight Conference.

Ethan Picco, La Salle-Peru, sr.: Picco led the Cavaliers with a 202 average. He won the Interstate Eight Conference and placed seventh at the Sandburg Sectional to qualify for the state tournament.
