Teams from Kankankee-McNamara, Ottawa, Coal City, Morris, La Salle-Peru, Princeton, Mendota, Streator, St. Bede and Mendota all competed in the Class 1A Sectional girls tennis meet on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025 at Ottawa High School.

The Ottawa girls tennis team swept all three doubles matches in Tuesday's 4-1 Interstate 8 Conference dual victory over La Salle-Peru at the Henderson-Guenther Tennis Facility at Ottawa High School.

The Streator girls tennis team won both singles matches and took one of three doubles Tuesday to edge visiting Princeton 3-2.
