The Marquette girls basketball cut a late 18-point third quarter disadvantage to Roanoke-Benson to three twice in the final minute of the fourth quarter in a 63-56 Tri-County Conference loss to the league champion Rockets at Bader Gymnasium on Thursday night.

Princeton got two clutch free throws from junior point guard Camryn Driscoll with 12 seconds to take a 1-point lead and made a defensive stop at the end to hold on for a 56-53 win over Seneca in a nonconference matchup of two of the best teams on the I-80 corridor.
