Defending Class 1A champion Marian Central routs Sandwich at Oregon Sectional

Marian Central Catholic won nine straight bouts and scored 43 consecutive points Tuesday on the way to a 66-6 victory over Sandwich in the Class 1A Oregon Dual Sectional.

Coal City sends 13 wrestlers to state from home sectional

The Coal City wrestling team hosted sectionals over the weekend and had 13 wrestlers advance to state, seven with first-place finishes. Reed-Custer advanced five and Wilmington and Seneca three.
