Congratulations to The Times Athlete of the Week, Streator boys golf’s Kolden Neumann!

Colt Bryson and Bryer Harris each recorded top-3 individual finishes as Ottawa claimed the IHSA 2A Boys Golf Sectional title at the Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Club in Rockford on Monday afternoon.

The Henry-Senachwine and Hall boys golf teams finished second and third respectively on Wednesday to advance to sectionals out of the Class 1A Marquette Regional at Deer Park Country Club in Oglesby. Fieldcrest's Carter Senko placed second individually after a playoff.

Teams from Henry-Senachwine, Fieldcrest, Hall, St. Bede, Marquette, Princeton, Putnam County, Woodland and Flanagan-Cornell all competed during the Class 1A Regionals on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025 at Deer Park Golf Club in Oglesby.

Burlington Central senior Tyler Samaan played his final six holes 4-under par to finish with a 66 and the title of the Pirate Invitational at Deer Park Country Club in Oglesby on Monday. The Rockets placed second as a team, while host Ottawa finished third.

Teams from Ottawa, Marmion, Burlington Central, Kaneland, Minooka, Streator, L-P, Hall, Dixon, Morris, and Yorkville all competed during the Pirate Invitational boys golf meet on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025 at Deer Park Golf Club in Oglesby.

Streator's Brennen Stillwell won the individual title of Monday's Streator Bulldogs Boy Golf Invitational in a playoff, Ottawa claimed the team title of the event for the fifth straight time, and La Salle-Peru's Adan Chiu carded a hole-in-one.

Teams from La Salle-Peru, Ottawa, Streator and St. Bede all competed during the Streator Bulldog Invitational on Monday, Aug. 25, 2025 at Eastwood Golf Course in Streator.
