Longtime Woodford County leader and lifelong resident Tim Ruestman announces recently he will seek the Republican nomination for State Representative in Illinois’ 105th District.

Voter turnout was solid, if not spectacular, in La Salle-Peru thanks to contested mayoral races. Outside L-P, however, foot traffic at the polls was spotty, at best.
