Four St. Charles North sophomores won five events including two events by Thomas McMillan as the North Stars rolled to the conference title with 281 points. Wheaton co-op was the runner-up with 215 points

Hinsdale Central won seven of the 14 events and set three meet records to win New Trier's 'mini state meet' on Saturday.

Led by junior Joshua Bey, who broke state meet records in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke and swam on the record-setting 200 medley relay, won its second straight IHSA state swimming championship and 20th overall.

Hinsdale Central senior Nate Harris, who made a big statement by winning the 200-yard freestyle in the time of 1:37.29.

Led by first-place efforts from freshman Thomas McMillan, who won the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly, St. Charles North edged St. Charles East to win the DuKane Conference swimming title.

Henry Guo won the 100 freestyle and the 100 backstroke, leading Hinsdale Central's swimming team to the Neuqua Valley Invite championship on Saturday as the Red Devils won 10 of 12 swimming events.

Hinsdale Central won all three relays – setting state records in all three – in lapping the field to win the IHSA state swimming title on Saturday at Westmont. Also, Oswego Co-Op's Chase Maier took third and Cary-Grove's Danial Sanahurskyj tied for fifth in their races.

St. Charles North scored 235 points to win its fifth straight DuKane Conference championship Saturday afternoon at St. Charles East. The North Stars have won all five DuKane titles.
