Prairie Ridge soccer beats Benet, advances to state for first time in 25 years

Prairie Ridge senior Henry Knoll scored with 17:10 left in the first half to turn a scoreless but seemingly lopsided game around, and the Wolves went on to a 4-1 win over Benet in the Class 2A Wheaton Academy Supersectional to advance to state for the first time in 25 years.

Morton soccer moves past Lyons Township into sectional final

Morton turned a couple of surprises into a 2-0 victory over Lyons in the Class 3A Reavis Sectional semifinals. The Mustangs advance to face Hinsdale Central, a 3-1 winner over Downers Grove South, in Friday's sectional final.
