IC Catholic Prep crowned six sectional champions and qualified 12 of its wrestlers for the state wrestling meet, York freshman Charlie Dolan won a sectional title to lead area state qualifiers at Schaumburg, plus Lyons and York boys basketball were winners in Saturday's roundup.

York's boys basketball team went on a second-half run to pull away for a 51-33 West Suburban Silver basketball triumph over Glenbard West on Friday night.

Glenbard East boys basketball clinched a share of the Upstate East title, Benet clinched a share of the East Suburban Catholic, and Lyons, Downers Grove South and Glenbard South were all winners Friday.

After getting taken out of the game after two straight turnovers, Ben Peterson turned it around with 17 points to help Geneva take a 62-47 victory over Wheaton North.

Marc Gamble scored a game-high 31 points, and Lucas Kaciulis put in the game-winning basket as time expired to give Timothy Christian a 51-50 comeback win over Aurora Christian on Thursday night.
