Update: Outcome of District 87 facility improvement referendum remains close

A slim margin continues to separate the “Yes” and “No” votes in the Glenbard High School District 87 facility improvement referendum, but votes in favor of the referendum now lead the number opposed by about 300--up from 90 votes on Wednesday.

As of Thursday evening, The DuPage Election Division’s unofficial vote totals for the referendum are 12,207 Yes votes, or 50.58%, and 11,927 No votes, or 49.42%.

The DuPage County Election Division has 14 days from Election Day to count mail-in and provisional ballots. The school district will update its website with finalized results once they are made available.
