Minooka Village Hall open as a warming center

The Village of Minooka announced that the Village Hall at 121 McEvilly Road will be open as a warming center.

Those in need of warm shelter should go to the Community Room. If they’re having trouble getting inside, go to the red phone box on the police department side for assistance.

The extreme cold will stretch from Friday into Saturday before giving way to snow on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
