A truck driver was injured after his semi-trailer truck rolled over on Interstate 80 near Minooka Tuesday evening.

A semi-trailer truck was traveling east on I-80 when it drove off the road, across the median and rolled over on I-80 near Ridge Road, Illinois State Police Troop 3 reported.

All westbound I-80 lanes and the left lane of eastbound I-80 were shut down for “an extended time,” according to the state police post on their Facebook page at 7 p.m.

All lanes were finally reopened about 12:15 a.m.

The driver was flown to an area hospital with injuries, according to the state police. No other injuries were reported.
