The Sycamore softball team met Antioch with a trip to state on the line Monday afternoon at Kaneland High School in Maple Park.

A year ago, the COVID-19 pandemic wiped out the entire spring sports season. With numbers now low enough, the IHSA announced it is planning on having state finals in those spring sports that had no season at all last year.
