Hawthorn welcomes Nirvana Kitchen & Wine Bar

VERNON HILLS – Hawthorn announced the addition of Nirvana Kitchen & Wine Bar, a scratch kitchen and small-batch wine bar.

The new 2,563-square-foot restaurant, expected to open by mid-2025, will be located at Hawthorn Row near FP Movement.

“The addition of Nirvana Kitchen & Wine Bar to Hawthorn is a great example of what makes us the preferred shopping and dining destination in Lake County,” Jack Yejekwe, general manager at Hawthorn, said in a news release. “Nirvana’s commitment to food and beverage excellence mirrors our own desire to provide a premier experience to our shoppers. We are excited to welcome Danny Caldwell and his team to our expanding tenant lineup.”

Nirvana Kitchen & Wine Bar procures small-batch wines and menu ingredients made entirely from scratch and sourced from natural, sustainable, biodynamic and organic-producing artisans, farmers and winemakers, whenever possible. Nirvana is committed to sourcing the finest, freshest and most environmentally-sustainable ingredients and wines.

While visiting Hawthorn Row, guests also can enjoy new murals created by talented local artist Sarah Goone.

Specializing in color and incorporating the right design for the location, Goone’s vibrant murals will complement the aesthetics of the new Hawthorn Row with a playful, whimsical style and sense of community visitors will appreciate, according to the release.
