Oswego junior Jordyn Washington, who scored 28 goals and led the Panthers to a program-record 19 wins and the Southwest Prairie Conference championship, is the Record Newspapers Girls Soccer Player of the Year.
Oswego sophomore Dontrell Young, who medaled in the 100, 200 and 400-meter dashes at the Class 3A state track meet, is the Record Newspapers boys track and field Athlete of the Year.
