Deputies responded to the scene shortly after 11:30 p.m. following reports of an armed robbery at Lovers Playground in Oswego Township, according to a news release from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

A Plano man has been found guilty of criminal sexual assault to a teenager after a four-day trial this month.

“The safety of our students and school staff is our highest priority,” Montgomery Police chief Phil Smith said in the release. “We commend the school staff and administrators for their immediate response and cooperation.”
