Hinsdale Central won its third straight state swimming title in dominant fashion, while Marmion was second. Individually, St. Charles North's Thomas McMillan set a state record in the 100 fly and Oswego Co-op's Chase Maier swept the 200 and 500 free.

Oswego Co-op senior Chase Maier won the 500 freestyle in a pool record time, swam on the 400 relay that set another pool record and also won the 200 free, while Marmion won the team title and Oswego Co-op was third at the Neuqua Valley Sectional.

Oswego Co-op junior Chase Maier had a banner day at the IHSA state meet on Saturday, finishing in second place in both the 200 and 500 freestyle and lowering his lifetime bests in both events.

Marmion was second and Oswego Co-op third at the Metea Valley Sectional swimming meet on Saturday, while Oswego's Chase Maier swept the 200 and 500 freestyle races and Marmion's Brayden Capen won the 200 IM to lead state qualifiers.
Hinsdale Central won all three relays – setting state records in all three – in lapping the field to win the IHSA state swimming title on Saturday at Westmont. Also, Oswego Co-Op's Chase Maier took third and Cary-Grove's Danial Sanahurskyj tied for fifth in their races.

Chase Maier swept the 200 and 500 freestyle and Tony Hintz won the diving competition to lead Oswego Co-op's state qualifiers, and the team took fourth in the team race at the Neuqua Valley Sectional on Saturday in Naperville.
Jack Burke led team runner-up Plainfield by qualifying for state in four events, while Benet's Jack Larson won the 50 freestyle and qualified for state in two events and Oswego co-op's Tanner Stumpenhorst took second in the 100 butterfly to qualify for state.
Yorkville Christian wrestling had nine sectional qualifiers in winning the Class 1A Seneca Regional title, Oswego Co-op swimming was second at conference and Parkview Christian girls basketball won its conference tournament championship to stay unbeaten in Saturday's roundup.
