Wheaton North’s Izzy Paz completes whirlwind senior year with regional title

Izzy Paz got pinned twice a year ago during regionals in her first season wrestling at Wheaton North. On Saturday, she became a regional champion, pinning her first two challengers before earning a 12-1 major decision against Schaumburg’s Mia Phelps.

St. Charles East girls use six consecutive falls to win first ever home dual over Wheaton North

St. Charles East wrestling enjoyed plenty of success in a dual against Wheaton North Thursday. The girls team earned six consecutive falls to win 48-6 in the Saints' first ever home meet, while the boys had nine bonus-point victories to secure a 63-10 win.
