A person was transported with injuries to a local hospital Friday morning after a rollover crash on Interstate 88 east of Route 47 in Sugar Grove.

The Sugar Grove Fire Protection District and Illinois State Police responded to the scene around 9:31 a.m. Friday.

At the scene, responders found the vehicle on its roof with heavy damage. The crash shut down the right lane of the tollway temporarily.
