Fourteen of the area's top girls and boys wrestlers make up the 2025-26 Times All-Area Wrestling Team.

The statewide portion of youth wrestling season culminated earlier this month with various state tournaments including dozens of participants from the extended Ottawa/Streator/Morris area.

Princeton seniors Casey Etheridge and Augustus Swanson finished as state runners-up, while teammate Kane Dauber took third in the Class 1A wrestling state tournament Saturday.

Sandwich senior Cooper Corder won his second consecutive 150-pound title, and Yorkville Christian senior Jackson Allen won his second straight title during Saturday’s 42nd annual Plano Reaper Classic.
The Morris boys wrestling team picked up a 48-24 win over Ottawa, while the Ottawa girls beat Morris 46-34.
