Boys cross country
Ross Greiter Invite: At Plano on Tuesday, La Salle-Peru took the boys title at the Ross Greiter Invite with 29 points. Griffin Hammers and Adam Kasperski finished second and third for the Cavaliers. Anthony Padilla ran fifth, and Braylin Bond was seventh for L-P.
Winnebago Season Opener: At Winnebago, Mendota ran fourth as a team. The Trojans’ top finisher was senior Anthony Kelson, who placed fourth.
Princeton Triangular: At Princeton, Augustis Swanson won the boys race, and the Tigers finished first overall with 25 points. Fieldcrest’s Caleb Krischel placed second.
Henry-Midland Kickoff Meet: St. Bede won with 23 points and Henry-Midland was second with 32. Henry-Midland’s Tristen Hall placed second, while Kaden Nauman, Greyson Marincic and Raudel Hermosillo placed 4-5-6 for the Bruins.
Girls cross country
Ross Greiter Invite: At Plano, La Salle-Peru edged host Plano 27-30. Kiely Domyancich was the top finisher for L-P, as she ran fourth. Grace Politsch ran seventh and Yoselin Carlos ninth for the Cavaliers.
Princeton Triangular: At Princeton, the host Tigers took the top three spots to win the team race. Ruby Acker, Payton Frueh and Alexandra Waca finished 1-2-3 overall.
Henry-Midland Kickoff Meet: Henry-Midland’s Daniella Bumber ran to the victory in 21:56.5.
Boys soccer
Earlville 9, Parkview Christian 0: At Yorkville, Alvin Hernandez netted a hat trick as the Red Raiders cruised to the nonconference win. Easton Fruit scored twice, and Grady Harp, Adam Waite, Adin Hensley and Gavin Guelde added solo tallies for Earlville (2-4).
La Salle-Peru 2, Somonauk 2: At Somonauk, Adan Pantoja and Alex Rax each scored a goal as the Cavaliers and host Bobcats played to a draw in a nonconference game.
Kewanee 1, DePue-Hall 0: At Kewanee, the Little Giants were shut out in a Three Rivers Conference game.
Girls volleyball
Kewanee 2, Hall 0: At Kewanee, the Red Devils fell in two games, 25-23, 25-21. Kennedy Wozniak had four kills and 10 digs, and Morgan Hoscheid had 15 assists for Hall.
Putnam County 2, Earlville 0: At Granville, the Panthers won a nonconference match 25-21, 25-12. Myah Richardson had 10 digs, six kills, four assists and an ace for PC, while Eme Bouxsein had 10 assists and eight points and Sarah Wiesbrock contributed 20 digs, nine points and an ace. Bailey Miller had four kills and 12 digs, and Elizabeth Vazquez has four service points and 12 digs for Earlville.
Henry-Senachwine 2, Annawan 0: At Henry, the Mallards won 25-16, 25-14 in nonconference play. Kaitlyn Anderson had six kills, five assists, four digs and an ace for Henry (5-1), while Lauren Harbison had 11 assists, six digs, six points, two aces and three kills and Harper Schrock put down six kills.
Serena 2, DePue 0: At DePue, the Little Giants lost 25-4, 25-10 in a Little Ten Conference match.

La Salle-Peru co-op 122, Morris 58: At Morris, the Cavaliers swept all three relays in the Interstate 8 dual meet. Finley Jobst captured two event wins for the Cavaliers.

La Salle-Peru 194, Princeton 233: At Peru, senior Allie Thome shot the low round of the day with a 40 to lead the Cavaliers. Sophia Chiu added a 44 for L-P. Reese Reviglio had the low round for Princeton with a 51.
Dwight 213, St. Bede 216: Anna Cyrocki had a 50 and Eden Galvan a 53 as the Bruins lost a Tri-County Conference match.

Riverdale 148, Hall 159, Mercer County 166: Noah Plym shot a 35 as the Red Devils finished second in a Three Rivers Conference triangular. Landen Plym (36), Jake Diaz (43) and Johnni Escatel (45) also scored for Hall.
Mendota 175, Rock Falls 194: Grady Jones earned medalist honors with a 40 to lead Mendota to the win. Evan McPheeters added a 41 for Mendota.
Princeton 159, Rockridge 171: Jackson Mason claimed medalist honors with a 35 to lead Princeton to a Three Rivers Conference win. Also for the Tigers, Nolan Kloepping had a 39, Kaiden Coomer shot a 40 and Jayden Fulkerson had a 45.
Girls tennis
Princeton 3, East Moline United 2: At Princeton, a sweep of all three levels of doubles did the trick as the Tigers won the nonconference dual meet. Princeton sealed the win with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles from Tessa Carlson and Ella Kinnamon.
