Princeton Logan captures SRC eighth grade boys championship
Lions (20-4) will take top seed into regional play on Jan. 24
The Princeton Logan eighth grade boys basketball team captured the SRC championship, defeating LaSalle Lincoln 58-39 Thursday night at Peru Parkside. The Lions will take the top seed and a 20-4 record going into regional play at Kewanee beginning Jan. 24. Top-seeded Princeton Logan defeated LaSalle Lincoln 58-39 to capture the Starved Rock Conference eighth-grade championship Thursday at Peru Parkside.
Jayden Reynolds led Logan with 20 points Bryce Brandt adding 11, Will Keutzer nine and Ethan Turpen eight.
Logan, which will take a 20-4 record and the top seed into regional play starting Jan. 24 at Kewanee, beat Bureau Valley 51-18 in Tuesday’s semifinals.
