The JOY group for senior men and women will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Park Place, 406 E. Hickory St., Streator.

Dale Maley, president of the Livingston County Historical Society, will present a program on the Underground Railroad route from Fairbury to Ottawa.

Dessert will be served after the presentation. Organizers ask for a $5 donation to help cover expenses.
