St. Bede Academy student Yannis Yong has been named a commended student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Yong, son of Promise and Zita Yong, ranked among the top 50,000 students who entered the competition by taking the 2023 PSAT/NMSQT.

Commended students are recognized for academic promise and educational excellence.
