The intersection of West Madison and Canal streets in Ottawa will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, Sept. 29, for pavement repairs.

Contractors will perform brick and concrete work, requiring a full closure 24 hours a day for the duration of the project. Weather permitting, the intersection is expected to reopen by Saturday, Oct. 4.

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes during the closure.
