Crews rescue man entrapped in grain bin near Walnut

Emergency crews rescued a man who was entrapped in a grain bin Monday morning. Walnut, Ohio and Princeton fire departments responded 9:36 a.m. Monday along with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Emergency crews rescued a man who was entrapped in a grain bin Monday morning.

Walnut, Ohio and Princeton fire departments responded 9:36 a.m. Monday along with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Using grain bin rescue equipment the crews were able to free the patient, the Walnut Fire Department said in a news release. The patient was able to climb out of the bin on his own and was taken to the nearest hospital as a precaution.
