A number of police and other agencies found a boy Wednesday at East 16th and North 32nd roads after he ran out of Wallace School, north of Ottawa, and into a cornfield.
Police responded after 1 p.m. and the boy was found about 5 p.m.
Police departments and other agencies set up a two-mile radius perimeter near the school, utilizing drones and dogs to locate the boy. An AT&T worker was used a bucket truck with binoculars to help find him.
Traffic on North 33rd Road was diverted while the search was ongoing.
