An aerial view of the former site of Buffalo Range Riding Park on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024 at the location near 1028 North 2803rd Road in Utica. The Utica Planning Commission approved a permet allowing Gerhard Ward to develop a off road recreational riding park to 600 acres adjacent to grownd owned by Covia Solutions Inc. The site will have 300 acres of riding areas with 200 acres to be part of a proposed solar farm which has yet to be approved. The area was the former site of Buffalo Range Riding Park before it was sold to Covia Solutions Inc.
