The Streator baseball team finished a conference series sweep of Reed-Custer on Tuesday, with seniors Cole Winterrowd, Clay Christoff, Joe Hoekstra and Talon Melvin all starring in a 9-2 victory.

ICE thriller between Manteno, Coal City suspended in 7th inning of 8-8 game

Monday's Illinois Central Eight Conference thriller between host Manteno and Coal City baseball was suspended by lightning right before the bottom of the seventh inning of an 8-8 game. It will be completed Tuesday in Coal City, followed by the second game of the series.
