Quinn Carrier scored 17 of her 19 points in the second half to help Sycamore beat Burlington Central 50-43 to win the Class 3A Sycamore Regional.

Evelyn Klimek dominated the offensive glass, providing the difference in a game in which buckets were at a premium in the Eagles' 31-29 win over Indian Creek in the Class 1A South Beloit Regional championship game on Thursday.
The Sycamore girls basketball team hosted Burlington Central Thursday in an IHSA Class 3A regional championship game.

Sycamore came back from seven down in the final four minutes to beat Freeport and advance to a regional final. Quinn Carrier scored 26 to lead the Spartans and Sadie Lang had a key rebound in a game in which all the rebounds were going Freeport's way.

Ali Thomas had 10 of her game-high 12 points come in the second half, including the go-ahead free throws with 58.3 seconds left, to help No. 6 Batavia avoid the upset with a 39-37 victory over No. 11 DeKalb.
No. 4 Marian Central scored 18 of the game’s final 21 points to complete the comeback for a 45-39 win over No. 5 Hinckley-Big Rock. Julia Dovidio finished with 18 points, eight rebounds and six steals in the win. Anna Herrmann scored 20 in the loss.

After Kaneland erased a 10-point deficit in the final seven minutes, Geneva's Linnea Popp found herself open on an inbounds play and hit a short jumper with two seconds to play to give Geneva a 38-36 in their 3A Dixon Regional semifinal.

Marengo junior guard Myah Broughton scored a career-high 29 points and made seven 3-pointers Monday to lead the Indians past Genoa-Kingston 55-32 and into the Class 2A Marengo Regional championship game.

Marengo faces Genoa-Kingston in an IHSA Class 2A Marengo Regional semifinal girls game on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at Marengo High School.
