The Egyptian Theatre in downtown DeKalb has some hot shows coming up Feb. 13 & 14.

This unofficial holiday, celebrated annually on Feb. 13, is a time for ladies to ditch the romance and have an evening out with your best girls.

This elegant event will feature curated cocktails and a prix fixe, chef-designed gourmet dinner, followed by the live performance.

"Million Dollar Quartet" will run March 4-May 31 at the intimate Stolp Island Theatre in downtown Aurora.
The student choruses will come from Aurora, Carpentersville, Glen Ellyn, St. Charles and Sycamore high schools. Concerts will be held at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church.

Known as “garden railroads,” the large-scale model trains bring a larger-than-life miniature world to the Morton Arboretum in Lisle.

Fun ideas include checking out a unique local museum or attending a roller derby bout.
