Fieldcrest tops Princeton for Colmone sophomore crown

SPRING VALLEY - Fieldcrest captured the Colmone Classic sophomore championship Saturday morning, defeating Princeton 37-26.

The Knights took a 7-6 first-quarter lead and held it throughout, leading 17-10 at the half and 25-19 at the end of the third quarter.

Daniel Sousa led the Kittens (7-2) with six points and Andrew Peacock and Jimmy Starkey added five each.

Jozia Johnson of Fieldcrest led all scorer with 16 points.
