The Illinois Storytelling Festival returns Saturday as the Spring Grove Storytelling Festival, bringing back a long-time event that once brought up to 2,500 people to the community.

Batavia MainStreet is excited to host Block Party and Taste of Batavia on Sunday, Sept. 4 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Peg Bond Center, with a car show on North River Street until 8 p.m.

The event is scheduled for Sept. 9-11 on South 4th and James streets.
