18-year-old Morris man arrested on controlled substance charge

MORRIS – Zac Guzman, an 18-year-old Morris man and a senior at Morris Community High School, was arrested on a charge of possessing a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, on Tuesday at Morris Community High School, Morris police said.

Morris Police Chief John Severson said the department was alerted by the high school.

Morris Community High School Principal Kelly Hussey was unavailable for comment when called Wednesday.

Guzman later was transported to Grundy County Jail in Morris to be held for prosecution, according to documents from the Morris Police Department.
